Through a new Baptist Home Care and Hospice Referral Campaign, new, full-time RNs, PTs and OTs hired through a referral – and the employees who refer them – can earn up to $3,000. Here are the details. For more information, please call 901-767-6767.

What Candidates Must Do
  • Complete the employee application, including the “Referral Source” section. Please note: To receive the referral bonus, the referring employee’s name must appear in the “Referral Source” section of the application.
  • Apply for a full-time RN, PT or OT position. (Part-time positions are eligible for lesser referral bonuses).

Candidates not eligible for a bonus

(Please note: If the candidate is not eligible for a bonus, the referring employee won’t receive a bonus, either.)

  • RNs, PTs and OTs transferring from another Baptist entity, from one unit to another, or on a tuition deferral program.
  • Former Baptist Memorial Health Care employees with less than 6 months since employment separation.
What Employees Must Do

Active full-time, part-time and PRN Baptist Home Care and Hospice employees who refer a RN, PT or OT candidate can also receive a bonus. Requirements for receiving the bonus:

  • Employees must refer candidates for full-time or part-time RN, PT or OT positions at Baptist Home Care and Hospice.
  • Baptist Home Care and Hospice must hire the candidate.

Employees not eligible for a bonus

  • Temporary agency staff.
  • Administrative staff.
  • Members of management (including head nurses and supervisors).
  • Members of the human resources department.
RN, PT and OT Referral Bonus Categories

RNs, PTs and OTs with greater than 12 months of home care experience (Full-Time Position)

Both the referring employee and the new hire will receive a total of $3,000 (less applicable tax withholding) if the candidate is hired into a designated, full-time position.

RNs, PTs and OTs with greater than 12 months of home care experience (Part-Time Position)

Both the referring employee and the new hire will receive a total of $1,500 (less applicable tax withholding) if the candidate is hired into a designated, part-time position.

RNs, PTs and OTs with less than 12 months of home care experience (Full-Time Position)

Both the referring employee and the new hire will receive a total of $1,500 (less applicable tax withholding) if the candidate is hired into a designated, full-time position.

RNs, PTs and OTs with no prior home care experience (Part-Time Position)

Both the referring employee and the new hire will receive a total of $750 (less applicable tax withholding) if the candidate is hired into a designated, part-time position.
