You can choose from several locations including Baptist Memorial Hospital-Memphis, Baptist Memorial Hospital for Women, Baptist Memorial Hospital-Collierville, Baptist Memorial Hospital-DeSoto and Baptist Memorial Restorative Care Hospital. Seasonal Positions

Seasonal 16-week assignments include three, 12-hour shifts per week; two weekends per month; and one holiday if it falls within the assignment time frame. Job Summary

As part of a collaborative team, provides tele-nursing care focusing on early intervention to a diverse population of critically ill adults across multiple ICUs. Accountable for utilizing the nursing process to provide remote or direct patient care, coordinate the provision of care and serve as a role model in clinical practice and professional development. Blends caring, compassion, knowledge and integrity to provide safe, quality care that preserves patient autonomy, dignity and rights. Will work one ICU shift per schedule in ICU to maintain clinical knowledge and skills. Performs other duties as assigned.


Current American Heart Association health care providers Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

  • Completion of an RN program
  • Basic computer literacy skills
  • BSN degree preferred

Two years of clinical experience.

Professional Licensing

Current RN licensure permitting practice as a professional nurse in the state of Tennessee/Mississippi. If you do not qualify for seasonal assignments but are still interested in working at Baptist, please view other available nursing opportunities.

  • Coordinate and provide care utilizing the critical thinking framework known as the nursing process. The nursing process forms the foundation of the nurse’s decision-making to help partner with patients/families to attain, maintain and restore health whenever possible.
  • Blends caring, compassion, knowledge and integrity to provide safe, quality care that preserves patient autonomy, dignity and rights. Integrates practice with a Service First focus in keeping with Baptist’s mission, which mirrors the three-fold ministry of Christ through healing, preaching and teaching.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
