Qualifications
Job Summary
As part of a collaborative team, provides tele-nursing care focusing on early intervention to a diverse population of critically ill adults across multiple ICUs. Accountable for utilizing the nursing process to provide remote or direct patient care, coordinate the provision of care and serve as a role model in clinical practice and professional development. Blends caring, compassion, knowledge and integrity to provide safe, quality care that preserves patient autonomy, dignity and rights. Will work one ICU shift per schedule in ICU to maintain clinical knowledge and skills. Performs other duties as assigned.
General Qualifications
Training
Successful completion of critical care course or equivalent.
Special Skills
Computer literacy; Effective communication, organizational, and collaboration skills; strong critical thinking and problem solving skills; Capability of making rapid and clinically accurate decisions based on best practice and evidence based practice; EKG Rhythm Interpretation.
Preferred/Desired Qualifications
Experience
10 years experience in adult ICU setting; eICU experience
Education
Earned BSN
Training
Successful completion of critical care course or equivalent.
Minimum Required Qualifications
Experience
5 years experience in adult ICU setting
Education
Completion of RN program
